Quality material for an introductory course in the Python language
The Algora network of schools, specializing in learning to code through robotics, has opened a course dedicated to adults to enable them to acquire computer literacy and understand the digital revolution. This robotics kit will be used to teach the first year of the adult course, i.e. 40 hours of lessons to develop around twenty robots.
To enable this learning, Algora has designed this robotics kit which combines the simplicity of construction with the power of its technology for a tool that is as accessible and educational as possible.
A powerful programmable card
Based on ESP32 technology, the programmable card chosen to teach this programming course for adults can be coded in Python, but also in Scratch. In addition to integrating various sensors (a light, temperature, sound sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a compass), it includes a panel of 25 LEDs (RGB), as well as a buzzer.
This card is programmable in Python from the Mu editor, chosen for its clear interface and its essential functionalities, or in Scratch from the Studuino:Bit software.
An extension to connect a wide variety of sensors and actuators
The extension into which the programmable card clips allows you to connect, in addition to the integrated sensors, other sensors and actuators such as DC motors or servomotors. On this extension there are holes on which our construction cubes and other parts can be clipped.
Building cubes and various parts to invent any robot
Our building cubes are clever! Their particular configuration allows them to be clipped in many different ways and to mount robots easily and quickly. No screws, everything fits together. Wheels, but also axes and gears make it possible to integrate mechanics into the construction of robots.
